Abstract:
Ab urbe condita – in the words of Livy, who even from the title linked his history of Rome to its origins, binding it to the founding of the city. Mythical or historical, who knows – it matters little: Livy does not raise the question because, for him, myth was history. At least, it was at that time. What happened in 753 B.C. can be considered an archetype: Rome is a paradigm. The story of the origins of a city more than a thousand years old, which through its founding continues to speak of itself and of us – of collective life, that is, social, civil and political life or rather, the conditions under which we live alongside each other. But what does "founding" mean?
