The Process of Social Convergence in the European Union in the Comparison between Mediterranean Europe and Central Europe

abstract:
The essay intends to delve into the ongoing process of convergence between European countries, with attention to both aspects of the labor market and those concerning social inclusion. The examination concerns the trend in labor demand, the efficiency of the labor market and the relationship between demographic trends and work with specific attention to the relationship between service systems and social inclusion and management and promotion tools for employability and 'accompaniment to work. The essay provides a specific in-depth analysis of the trends and reforms underway, also in reference to the impact of the Pnrr and the programming of the European Social Fund, and considers in particular the comparison between the countries of Mediterranean Europe and those of Central Europe, with specific attention to Italy and Hungary with regards to social models.
