abstract:
Work, a fundamental part of human experience, cannot be separated from the formation of each person. In the same way it is a central moment in the structuring of the person as such and of his life project. Planning is precisely the category from which one starts, and which accompanies and (implicitly) promotes generativity; this challenges the status quo and opens the world to new possibilities (Gergen, 1978). There is a thread that keeps work and the project of life connected in a horizon that is not only educational but generative. Likewise, the ability to design (and to redesign oneself) translates into the generative seed, the basis for a generative orientation to living, to being a person-at-work, in the ability to reconstruct reality and social action. A "worker" who cannot be distinctly defined by a value horizon that underlies his life project and is projected towards the future (Brown, 2020). Hence some reflections, to rethink a work experience that is not disconnected from training, values, affections, care, and responsibility, to contribute in a meta-anthropo-pedagogical direction to the factual approach of workplaces to educating (and generative) communities.
