Le Presidenti delle Regioni. Un contributo alla prosopografia (1970-2021)

The realization of an effective equal democracy has not yet come to fruition despite the evolution of the regulatory framework at regional and national level. Standards alone are not sufficient to guarantee real equality; it is necessary to overcome the resistances, including cultural ones, that hinder the entry of women into representative assemblies at all levels. The intent of the prosopographic research is to help fill an investigation gap in order to broaden knowledge relating to the morphology of local authorities from a gender perspective, trying to translate the presence of women in representative institutions into qualitative and quantitative data
